My husband has been unable to join a network here in Greece. He also cannot access his online account as he has forgotten the password. When he tries to reset the password VM sends a text to his phone which of course he can’t access. Catch22. He never got a “Welcome to Greece” like I did.

Good Morning @smugcat2000, thanks for your post and I'm sorry to hear of your husbands issue connecting to a mast whilst in Greece.

Can you confirm if he was able to switch roaming on, on the account and device before you left the UK?

If this was not done, it may be difficult to now obtain a connection via the masts whilst in Greece?

He got a new iPhone a few months ago. But roaming was on last time we went abroad - pre Covid, on his old iPhone

Thanks for coming back to us @smugcat2000, do you know if roaming was switched on, on his new iPhone before leaving the UK?  

If it wasn't, it's likely the handset wont work for this trip abroad I'm afraid..
