Hi all,
as some of you might be aware, I’m in Spain and my Virgin mobile has let me down quite spectacularly. I have an iPhone 13 pro, will it be possible to put another local SIM card into it or is the phone going to be locked to virgin?
if I were able to contact customer services I would but I’m in a real pickle here and I need a working phone.
many thanks in advance.
george

Yes you can but you might want to try this first.
iPhone or iPad with a Physical SIM
Then try manually selecting each available network in turn

I tried yesterday. It seemed to have worked, I was receiving texts and voicemail etc. the problem is only one of the list of local networks seems to connect and there’s no sound seemingly at both ends.
I think the best thing I can do now is get a local sim. I’m so disappointed, this has never happened to me with any other network before and customer services literally couldn’t care less! I have to go public on twitter for any responses!
