After receiving a new sim, every time I dial any number I get the message "calls to this number are not currently being connected". It looks like the sim card has not been registered correctly. Could someone help please?

Thanks for your post, and welcome back to our Community Forums.

I'm sorry to hear you're having some problems after receiving a new SIM. The "Calls to this number are not currently being connected", can mean the SIM is sending the call to the network but there is some form of block in place, either on the SIM with us, or the other receiver's handset/SIM. For example, a Premium Call Block or an Incoming/Outgoing Call Block.

To clarify, is this happening on all numbers, including mobile and freephone, or just some? Has this only been happening since you received the new SIM?

It is every number and it's only happened with the new sim. Also the mobile data connection is not working.

I am facing the exact same issue since receiving a replacement SIM, I am unable to make calls or use my data,

I am sorry you're also having this issue and I would love to assist you further!

As my colleague Reece mentioned, this error can mean the SIM is sending the call to the network but there is some form of block in place, either on the SIM with us, or the other receiver's handset/SIM. For example, a Premium Call Block or an Incoming/Outgoing Call Block.

I have started to have this issue over the last couple of days. I am not a new customer and haven't changed anything recently

Sorry I misread the post. I seem to be having the opposite issue. I can make calls but people calling me are getting this message. It appears to be anybody calling me gets the message
