Callers to my mobile dropping out

I joined Virginmobile with a new iPhone SE last year and have had numerous and repeated instances of callers being told my number is unavailable when it is not, and also receiving calls that are cut off before I can answer them. Is there anything I can do to sort this out myself?

Welcome to the Community Forums, thank you for posting and apologies for our delayed response.

 

I'm sorry to hear you've been having some ongoing intermittent issues with your mobile over the past year. Can you please confirm the below for me so we can get a better picture of what's happening?

 

  • Is WiFi calling also affected?
  • Have you set up your number under your Settings > Phone ?
  • Are you able to receive calls OK?
  • Do only certain numbers have trouble reaching you and if so, what type of numbers?

Hi Beth

i think wifi calling is affected too

my number is in my settings on the iphone

most calls seem to get through but as some don’t even show on my missed calls I can’t be sure

two numbers I always seem to have problems with one is on Vodafone and one on O2. Coincidentally the O2 number I cannot get my iPhone to recognise as a contact already in my phone

Thanks it all seems ok now after a call with Virginmobile. From what I recall we updated network settings and now everything seems ok
