Blank Security Message

Hello! I've been having trouble registering my account for my SIM, it asks me for a security answer but I haven't set one up and the security question is blank.

I bought this contract SIM last year from Carphone Warehouse, I had the same problem with the security question being blank back then but I never went to get it fixed due to personal issues getting in the way.

It's a Monthly contract, recently updated (In March) to unlimited Data,Calls and Texts. It used to be 40GB a month with a promotional 20GB.

I've also just gotten a text that Virgin Media had failed to pre-authorise the monthly payment, even though my billing details haven't changed and I haven't had this issue before.
