I phoned up closed an account in 2016 but the account was not closed, and virgin media keep the account open till this date and I never received any bill, letter or email regarding the account been in debt and have now marked a default on my credit score account in 2017 and won’t remove it but The account was closed in 2016

I'm very sorry to hear this. Can you clarify if this is regarding a Virgin Media account, or a Virgin Mobile account? When did you last discuss this with the team, and what did they advise on the matter?
