I added AirPods to a mobile contract that I took out in November last year. One of the AirPods no longer works and the other cannot hold a charge. I have spoken to Apple senior support and they decided that the AirPods need replacing, however they cannot verify my warranty as they were not purchased from them directly. Could anyone please point me in the right direction to get these replaced under warranty and avoid the charge from Apple?
The only AirPod support page I found on the Virgin site was for troubleshooting which did not help.
Sorry to hear you're having issues obtaining proof of purchase of your AirPods. Please can you confirm they're not in any sort of confirmation email when you set up the deal last year? Or have Apple advised this is not sufficient?
