Mum in hospital (non-covid) for a few weeks, down to 29p credit on old Virgin PAYG mobile. Doesn't have her bank card. I'm 200 miles away can't visit in present situation. How do I get credit to her phone? She has poor eyesight, arm in plaster from fall, Virgin call centre couldn't add credit to her phone, suggesting I do it via her online account (she doesn't have one and I can't open one for her, tried that) / she do it on her smartphone (not listening to the problem I explained about) or a top-up voucher - again not appropriate.
Other providers allow third party to simply top-up using their card. Has anyone a solution to this situation other change provider once she's out of hospital?
