Abroad

I am in France on holiday, no service, did everything before I left according to the help pages, I have tried resetting the phone no joy very occasionally it connects for a few minutes then drops of again, used the same phone last year no problems

I'm really sorry you're having some issues using your phone in France, I can appreciate you're keen to get this sorted. 

Are you able to connect at all? If so which network appears?

Do you have our SIM tool kit app? If so then can you try the following:

 

For Android:
Select Apps from the Home Screen
Select Virgin SIM Toolkit Icon
Select Roaming
Select Select Mode
Select Manual
Select International-you are done, go back to Home Screen
 

To Switch back when in the UK:
Select Apps from Home screen
Select Virgin SIM Toolkit Icon
Select Roaming
Select Select Mode
Select Automatic and go back to Home Screen
