4G but no mobile data

Hi,

My data and service working absolutely fine for past 2/3 years. 

Since some time ago, I don’t get a 4G connection in some areas (even in a big city), it shows full bars and a 4G/5G signal but no connection/network. I`ve got 2 SIM cards and both of them have the same issue.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're facing some issues with your mobile data recently. Is this happening in and around your home too, or only in certain areas when you're out and about? Can you also confirm what model of handset you have?

Hi Zach,

It`s happening in my town (quite a small town) but only in some places around it. Last weekend I went to Exeter (where you expect to have 4G or even 5G) and my phone was showing 4G but I didn`t have any network/mobile data working.

One phone is Iphone12 and the other one is Iphone11.

Thank you for expanding on this for me. Can you confirm what troubleshooting and diagnostics you've carried out thus far in an effort to remedy this issue? Also, to confirm, are you saying that both handsets are impacted by the same issue?

I didn`t carried out any diagnostic apart from rebooting both handsets and checking the network cover in my area (which is good). Yes, both handsets have the same issue in the same places. 

I think the problem started when you start using Vodafone as a network provider, before it was working with no issues.

I`ve turned off and on the handset by holding the side button and volume button and in Setting I`ve turned off and on the Mobile Data.

Hi @ankuv,

Can you please try turning Airplane Mode on and leaving it on for at least 30 seconds? After doing this, please then turn of the handset itself and leave it off for at least 30 seconds before booting it back up again.

I`ve tried that already twice. The phone was in an Airplane Mode for 2.5h and then I restarted it many times and it didn`t help at all. I`ve experienced the same issue when abroad, 4G, full signal but no mobile data, no internet.
