2nd phone

The account I have with Virgin mobile is for my teenage sons phone. I’m currently with EE, my contract has ended and I’ve seen a good deal on the Virgin site, so I would like to purchase it. Do I have to set up a new account for my phone or can this be done through the same account? I was worried that if I purchased it online through my account that it would replace my sons phone and not send me my ‘new’ one.
