tivo box keeps switching off

why is my tivo box keeps switching off ???? also router keeps switching off, losing all broadband connection.........and tv.......

i must of had, by now 4/5 tivo box changes and the router changed several times !!!!!!!  why is virginmedias equipment so damn rubbish ......... i want something done about this, also compo for lost services and all the stuff i record to watch later, i loose 😡😡. when they change the box again.................

No TV box should restart itself as it sounds like yours is - there's certainly no known fault that causes this, and it sounds like you've been very unlikely to have that many faulty boxes needing replacement.

TiVo's are now replaced with V6 that are much faster & quicker.

Get an electrician to check electrical circuits and sockets.

Welcome back to the Community Forums and thanks for the post.

Sorry to hear you have been having this ongoing issue with your TV box.

Can you confirm for me when it goes off does it lose power entirely? Do any lights remain on the box? If not can you confirm that you have tried having the box plugged into a different outlet to see if the same issue occurs there.
