i ie: Constant pixelated disruption through TiVo box

Hi I have same issue even on demand pixelates said to mum but she says if the engineer comes out find nothing then we get a bill this has happened for months at stage of pulling hair even got to wait a few days before there on demand anything I can do at my apart from all the things everyone else has done even the app isn't updating help really annoying now

Pixellation on live TV tends to mean you have signal issues. OnDemand is delivered over the internet and so would tend to buffer/stutter.

In either case - reboot your box once, if the problem continues you have a fault somewhere and an engineer or replacement box is free. There's only a charge if a fault is found to be with your own equipment rather than the box and cabling that Virgin supply.
