My tivo box died about 4 days ago after increasing trouble with playback of recordings and pixellation. I got the GSOD and it commenced going round the 3 hour loop of attempting repair, without success. It did this for 3 days until I unplugged it because the flashing lights on the box were irritating. The TV is working (to play DVDs - I have no aerial, so cannot get TV that way), so I conclude that the tivo hard drive has gone. I am deaf so it is difficult to contact Customer Services. What I need is a new box delivered as soon as possible, which I should be able to set up myself - no engineer required.
