WiFi signal weak

Hello, I stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. It's very strange that I have WiFi signals only on my living and dining area. Very poor signals at Kitchen Almost no signals at bedroom (s) It's really irritating. Thinking about disconnection. Any help!

Re: WiFi signal weak

Hi Jayasuryan

We recommend that you download the connect app and it will be able to scan for blackspots in the home.

If may give you the option to order boosters to improve the signal.

Kind regards

Chris.

Re: WiFi signal weak

I have installed Virgin media app and scanned rooms and found weak WiFi spots. Even I installed a WiFi booster, still struggling with the signal strength.

Really annoying.

Anyone can help?

Re: WiFi signal weak

Hey Jayasuryan,

Is this issue happening at all times of the day or just at certain times? Is your hub in a well ventilated area away from anything that may cause interference such as other electric devices?

Do you have issues when your microwave is on?

Does this weak signal happen on all of your devices?

Do you have any issues with any wired connections?

Regards

Re: WiFi signal weak

Dear Steven,

Thanks for your response.

This is a permanent issue all the time and every day. My Hub 3.0 is located in the living room, so no interference with any thing.

I have a microwave, but it's independent of the operation. Because signal issue exist all time.

My television(wired connection) is location in the living room where signal has best quality. If we live in the living "all the time" with all the devices, then we are good. But if we move out of living room, then the signal challenge begins.

The signal quality issue is irrespective of devices. Any device away from living room, starts crying for signal.

Any help!

Br,

Jayasuryan

Re: WiFi signal weak

Thank you for the information, if this happens away from the room which the Hub is in have you already got our Connect app

This can scan your property for WiFi black spots and will go through to order boosters if needed.

Thank you, Emily.

Re: WiFi signal weak

Dear Emily,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the bedroom is away from the hub and the Connect app identified hot spots in bedroom.

I have installed a WiFi booster and still the signal strength is poor.

Any advice or thoughts please!

Br,

Jayasuryan

Re: WiFi signal weak

Thanks for coming back to use Jayasuryan,

Can you please confirm that you got our Wi-Fi boosters?

If so can you please read through this help guide to ensure that these are installed.

If all steps have been actioned, please attempt to reset the boosters and re-install to see if this will have the desired effect for us

Kindest regards,

David_Bn
