Virgin Media provide a lousy service. My TV channel has been down for a week and no courtesy text or email. Their customer service dept never answer the phone either. happy to debit my account on a monthly basis but poor service from the company

Have you checked for known local outages using the automated status line 0800 5610061?
If not, you should persist with reporting your fault. Staff do respond on these boards, and may be able to assist if you can expand on what you mean by "TV channel has been down for a week"?
Are you experiencing a loss of live broadcast channels? Are you getting any error codes/messages?
