Does it still go off when the VM box isn't plugged into it?

Yes it does but we’ve used two TVs and both are doing the same

Re: Tv turning on andvoff

You mean the V6 box, right? Not the TV.

Mine is doing the exact same. Every 30 minutes or so it reboots, goes through startup, then broadcast again.

Re: Tv turning on andvoff

Hey Elainethurlbeck,

Have you tried rebooting your tivo to see if that makes any difference?

When you said that you had tried another TV, is this also in another socket?

Does the TV completely go off or is it the box that is going off?

Regards

Re: Tv turning on andvoff

Thats so strange Elainethurlbeck, could you try unplugging the tivo box from the wall socket and removing any connections to the TV, to see if the TV will work on its own without any connection to the tivo box.

We can arrange for a new box to be sent out but want to make sure that the box is the issues,so that you dont have two boxes that are turning the tv off.
