Live TV, OnDemand & streaming is all ok. But recorded, delayed & paused TV is problematic...
It probably means your box has hard drive problems. It's not repairable, but is a fault that will usually result in the box being replaced before it gets worse and (potentially) causes further issues

If my tv hard drive is damaged how to go about getting it replaced?
Assuming you mean the hard drive on your Virgin Media set top box, phone in and report your fault.
