still  same fault  4th day  now   , guide /menu   not able to tell me whats  on

Hi as you have posted on the Tivo section I'm assuming you don't have a V6, if a older Tivo, press home, help and settings, settings, network, connect to the virgin media service now, all the stages should be green ticked when completed that should restore the guide.Regards Micky

To add to Mick's reply, your box should be connecting to VM roughly every 6 hours to update the EPG and other background bits.

Within the Connections menu, the top-left panel shows when the last connection was, or the reason for failure. You're looking for regular, successful connections. The occasional failure is one thing, frequent or regular ones are indicative of a fault.

Terrestrial channels tend to have a guide upto Friday of the second week ahead, many pay channels run for close to a rolling fortnight.
