Tivo slow to start and freezing

I am having continual problems with my Virgin Tivo box. It is continuously freezing/losing connection, not booting up properly and I am receiving an error code C501.  I have another Tivo box in a other room as part of my account and there are no such problems with that one. I believe there is a problem with this box. It also freezes at 25 % when watching Netflix on this box. Netflix  is fine on my other box.

Error code help here suggests calling in for that code. Are you using TiVo boxes, or V6, just to be sure? Check here if you're not sure.

You can try swapping your boxes around if you want to prove box vs cabling.
