We have a new tivo box and it has stopped working today, possibly because of the cold, it was in the window and it didn't effect our last one or because of being unplugged a few times, literally no idea, any suggestions? It comes up with the welcome screen then like a loaded arrow/inbox icon
You could try powering the box down for perhaps 10 minutes and then retrying. Otherwise... if the coax cable connection is finger-tight and the TIVo won't boot, then you're best calling VM to report the fault.
150 from a VM phone, or 0345 4541111 from any other phone.
The cold shouldn't affect it to this degree unless your home is particularly cold (which I'm sure is unlikely) - are there any noises coming from the box that sound "wrong"?
