Tivo box not playing Netflix

Netflix not playing on TiVo box

trys to load but won’t open

happened after internet connection was lost the restarted

iplayer app works

internet working

Sorry for the trouble you've had with Netflix on your TiVo® boxs.

 

Have you been able to check our service status page (virg.in/service) for nay related issues that may account for this? Just pop in your postcode for updates, if you sign in you can
also run some tests on the equipment.

 

If there's nothing communicated that could be causing the problem please don't hesitate to let us know so we can take a further look.

Hi

contacted virgin and they came out next day to change the TiVo box. There is an ongoing issue with the Netflix app on the TiVo box. The new box is working fine. Hope virgin get it fixed soon or it’s going to cost them a fortune in new boxes. Great service, which is what you need when things go wrong.

I have exactly the same problem!

Every kind of reboot of v6 and TV tried to no avail.

Do I  need a new box?

Sorry to hear you've encountered the same issue Fitdad. Have you been able to check service status (via https://virg.in/service) and run tests on the kit by signing in? You may find that offers a solution. If not please feel free to get back to us here so we can go through further diagnostics.

No local issues and Wi-Fi connection fine etc.

changed HDMI cables and still nothing. Netflix homepage comes up but screen blank once content is selected.

Are you using a 4K TV?

 

Can you try running the Test Formats option in Settings -> Video Output -> Video Output Format and see if this helps.

Do you get any sounds coming out even if the screen is blank?
