Our tivo box has crashed have tried turning on and off and checking all the cables etc but it won't load. The lights on the box are flashing red and white! Any advice? Our 2 Yr old is going out of his mind and so are we!!
That sounds like it could be a possible hard drive issue with your box, which would need a replacement.
Could you try unplugging the Power Supply & HDMI cable from the back of the box and leaving them disconnected for about 30secs. Then plug the Power back in but leave the HDMI unplugged. Leave it for about 5 mins or so and monitor the lights on the box as it is booting up, if they continue to flash while the HDMI is unplugged then unfortunately you would need a replacement box, if the flashing has stopped try connecting the HDMI cable again and see if your issue has been resolved!
