Tivo Box loss of Signal


Over the past week or so our Tivo box has been exhibiting signal loss issues that has been progressively getting worse. It has nothing to do with the broadband connection as we also have an Amazon Prime Stick that works fine.

As of yesterday 07.11.18 it acts like:

  • Powered on and working for 25 minutes.
  • Then cut out to a black screen for 1 minute.
  • Back on for 5 minutes.
  • Off for 1 sec.
  • On for 1second.
  • Off for 2 minutes.
  • On for 1 minute.
  • Then continuously off and on for minutes/seconds at a time.

Sometimes the picture vanishes but sound remains other times both go altogether.

Any idea what could be causing this issue? It happens on all channels.
