Tivo Box Problems

I am becoming increasingly frustrated by my Tivo box. I do not believe it is fit for purpose. It is slow, clumsy, I keep getting distorted pictures, I have had to cancel my Netflix subscription because films keep freezing and take forever to restart. I pay a lot of money to Virgin for my package and i do not feel I am getting good value. And yes, I have tried reboots and service checks several times to no avail
