I got my self install kit yesterday and followed all instructions but the TiVo box is stuck on start up on configuring network settings. I turned it off and back on again but no difference. I tried turning off for 15 mins and back on again and same thing. I have checked all cables and everything is where it should be. I left it all turned off over night but same this morning. Broadband works fine. Called tech support who said I need an engineer visit but ideally don't have time for this and I'm on holiday from Monday for over a week. Any suggestions of how to fix this without an engineer?
I've tried restarting the box several times, unplugged and re connected all the cables. Tech support were absolutely zero help whatsoever. Wasn't worth the 20 mins wait to be answered to be honest. Hoping someone who can check the line sees and comments on this post.
I called customer services. Apparently my box wasn’t activated. I had text to activate yesterday & text back confirmed it had been activated but they said on the phone it wasn’t. So been told to wait an hour and then try it.
