In the last few days, any programme i record is unwatchable. The recording pixelates, stutters and jumps.
I've tried ringing (call centres closed due to covid19), tried the faults section of the website which just said my box had a fault and I needed more help. It didn't actually provide any help, just directed me here.
Reading similar posts it sounds like a hard drive issue as live TV plays fine and only recorded programmes have an issue.
So as virgin have told me I need further assistance how to get this assistance?
From your description I'm minded to agree you have a problem with your HDD.
You can either wait on here (maybe a few days) for VM staff to pick this post up, or you can persist with calling into faults and (probably) arranging a replacement box immediately. I'd suggest calling tomorrow morning early doors if you can - they open at 8am.
