Our TiVo box has stopped working and is stuck in start up mode. I have requested a technician and had an appointment for today. I have called to check timings to find the technician has been cancelled due to an issue in my postcode that should be solved by the 27th. I have stayed at home today and wasn’t advised that the appointment had been cancelled until I chased it and now I have to wait for the issue to be resolved before a new technician appointment can be made. I’m pretty sure the TiVo box has an issue with the hard drive and I just need a new box. Why can’t I just be sent a new one? Any advice on other trouble shooting I could try? We currently have no Virgin TV services and are paying for something we can’t use!

All VM Tech visits are auto-cancelled when there is a known fault - track these on the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.
Meanwhile - this post should be in the TV section... so what TV box is it.. a Tivo, V6 or a 360
