Box not connected to internet. Message advises I connect Ethernet cable. Never had one.
Checked cable several times. Rebooted several times - no joy.
Are you definitely using a TiVo and not a V6? Check here if you're not sure.
If you're using a TiVo, I'd guess the "heartbeat" light (second green light from the left on front-left of your box) is flashing when it should be solidly on.
Check for local area faults on 0800 5610061, otherwise call Virgin to report your fault on the usual numbers (150 or 0345 4541111).
if you have a V6, there's a few other things that can be checked.

HiIt’s a V6 box. No idea how to proceed. I’d appreciate your help.
The V6 doesn't have an internet connection inbuilt, but relies on a connection to your Virgin homehub. How is yours connected to your homehub - going by your comments I'm assuming this is WiFi.
On your V6 remote, please follow Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network. In the top-right corner it will report your WiFi signal strength and whether the box is connected or not.
