I'd recommend checking for local faults by calling 0800 5610061 as well.
If there's no issues llisted or reported on either, then it's possible your box may simply be faulty. You can report that by calling Virgin C/S - 150 from a landline or 0345 4541111 from any other phone.

Thanks for the information. I telephoned the number you posted but there are no issues in my area. Telephoned customer services and there seems to be issues with the TiVo box itself. I have an engineer booked for next week. 😁
