TiVo box activation

I was contacted by Virgin to advise 3 of our 4 boxes were old and would stop working f at the end of June. Engineer called with 3 V6 boxes last week. Advised him I would be moving our TiVo box upstairs and installing a V6 in its place in the living room. 
All installations done easily by us, but the old TiVo box is now showing 7400 error code. Can’t get through to anyone to activate it. 
Can anyone help please?? Many thanks
