TiVo Box

Hi. I have recently changed my 'non smart' plasma television to a new smart tv. Should I retain the TiVo box or change to the latest Virgin box? If I do change how do I go about getting Virgin to change it?

The TiVo will only support upto 1080-HD pictures, so for starters if 4K/UHD is important you, then you'll need either a V6 or a TV360. They both need VM home broadband to function,

The V6 runs the same TiVo-software as you're used to, but on a much newer and more capable box.

The TV360 runs the same hardware as V6 but fundamentally different software - think Android vs iOS. There are innumerable previous threads on the differences between V6 & TV360

The options for converting to either do depend whether you're in or out of your minimum term and therefore in a position to renegotiate your package.
