TiVO box appears to be dead

TiVO box in the bedroom started making a clicking sound over the weekend. Turned the power off and left it overnight. Switched back on this morning but no lights or anything. All cables are connected correctly.

Re: TiVO box appears to be dead

Hello

Your descriptions tells me that the hard drive has failed on the box and you are going to need a replacement either call in, text message service https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Digital-life/When-and-how-to-use-our-messaging-service/ba-p/425... or you can wait for a VM forum staff member to pick up the post can take a few days.

Re: TiVO box appears to be dead

Any chance of getting a VM forum member to organise sending out a replacement box?

Re: TiVO box appears to be dead

Hello jafo61

Thanks for your post and sorry to hear the TiVo box has decided to stop working

Quick question which might be stating the obvious

Have you tried an alternative plug socket
