Re: The DVR has detected a serious problem amd is attempting to fit it?

Please don't create multiple posts for the same query, it can cause confusion and is against forum rules. I've merged the posts for you.

Unfortunately, this error means your box's hard drive has failed and will need replacing.

You can either call VM faults (150 from a VM phone, or 0345 4541111 from any other phone) to report this, or wait on this board for VM staff to pick this post up - this may take a day or so, especially given it's a bank holiday weekend. Can you clarify what you mean by "Customer services no use"?

Re: Tv not working

Hi @alasdairfawthro

Welcome to the forum page and thanks for posting this on here.

Sorry to hear you're having some TV issues but we can certainly look into this for you.

Just some questions before I look into this further for you.

How long has this screen showed up?

Just out of curiosity have you reset the TV box at all and if so has it made a difference?

If not we can look into this further for you 🙂

Thanks

@Sasha_W

In the nicest possible way, and mainly for the benefit of others reading this thread.... this "green screen error" means the hard drive has failed, even if it recovers... it'll be short lived.

And I'm not sure how you can even get a reboot from this screen...

It goes through normal start up procedure several times, then stays on this screen, have switched on/off several times, same thing happens. Not impressed with the lack of virgin media support

Re: Tv not working

Hi @alasdairfawthro

Thanks for coming back to me.

We just want to ask our customers this just so we know what you have done.

But I will pop you over a PM so we can look into this for you and get this sorted if that's okay.

At the top right hand corner of your page you should see a purple envelope, please click on that and that will take you to PM's  🙂

Thanks
