TV picture pixellation and intermittent sound loss is slowly getting worse when using my Tivo Box. I've already tried disconnecting all the leads from the box then reconnecting (yes all connections are tight) and rebooting but the fault persists. It is particularly bad on the HD channels, BT sports channels are the worst. Looks like my Tivo Box is on it's way out or there is a more general network issue (area 20) Can someone from Virgin please contact me.
Taking BT Sport 1 HD as an example, you've mentioned that specific channel... Can you check, package dependent, the following channels:
Sky Disney HD, Sky Premier HD, Sky One HD, BT Sport ESPN HD, NHK-World Japan
Taking BT Sport 2 HD...
Sky Sports PL HD, ITV-Be HD, Sky News HD, Nick HD, MTV HD, Sky Nature HD
If those are also affected, then that lends weight to a signal fault.
The quickest way to report your fault, in any case, is to call TV Faults. 150 from a VM landline, or 0345 4541111 from any other phone. VM forum staff work their way through posts on here, but it can take a few days.
