TV - No channels working

I posted recently on one of the other boards about my mother's home phone, a service she has been without since it stopped working on April the 4th. Now the problem has spread to her TV service. I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, and what to do to solve the issue.

None of the channels she has are displaying correctly; the screen is full of multicoloured "pixels", and the sound is messed up. The audio is making a weird kind of "stop-start" or "stuttering" noise. I'm still waiting for the phone problems to be resolved, but now there's this on top of it. She currently can't watch any of her favourite programmes because of it.

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene. You're likely to need either an engineer visit or a replacement box, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up.

First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.

150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so.

Also to be aware - faulty TiVo's are now replaced with V6 as standard. Same software, but a much newer box with more recording tuners.. as long as you have VM home broadband.
