It’s a shame that the VM sales department aren’t aware of this. I was “sold” the TV package on only needing WiFi connection which I could set up myself without an engineer. Hi have you not got a cable coming in from outside then a box on the wall inside from which a coxial cable connects to the TiVo box, if not you need an engineer to come and install it, because nothing will work without it.Regards Micky
Yes I have but like the previous poster my tv is quite a distance away in another room. I raised this as a potential issue with your sales representative but was assured it wasn’t an issue as I could self install using only the WiFi network. It seems this is a reoccurring problem as many customers have raised this issue of mis-selling online yet nothing seems to be done from Virgin Media to rectify it.
Hi I don't work for virgin this is a public forum I'm a customer like you that tries to help on here, it will be possible for the engineer to run a cable as long as is needed, it's unacceptable that virgin staff are so ill informed. Regards Micky
