TIVO box is faulty

Over the last few days I have noticed that the picture becomes distorted, cuts out completely or has grey lines flash up. This happens roughly every ten seconds or so now where as before it would happen once a day. I have tried all the connections and turned of and on etc but it still plays up. It’s becoming really annoying!! 
I have tried calling but it just insists I go online and sends me a link. 
please help!!

Is this happening on live TV channels? Or recorded programmes, OnDemand?

Have you been able to try swapping your HDMI lead or socket?
