Subtitles stopped working

Hi there. I've recently encountered a problem with the subtitles on my standard tivo box... Usually they are on (the partner does turn them off time to time) but recently (can't exactly remember when) they have disappeared and won't turn back on. The subtitle button on remote registers on the tivo box as it goes green but nothing happens. This is my usual way of turning it off or on. The display and subtitle settings in the menu doesn't seem to do any different either. Maybe an update has affected this? Thanks

Welcome to the Community!

 

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your TiVo.

 

I would recommend rebooting the box to see if it clears the fault. To do this, switch the box off at the mains for a few minutes then switch it back on. If the subtitles still aren't working after this let me know.
