I saw this question posted, i have this same issue, do you have an answer, there is no internet involved. (no internet at address)
Right now our TiVo box is stuck at updating for days.Turned off for few hours, left trying to update for a few days, nothing worked.
What should I do?

Sounds like you have the TiVo box (check here ) which has its own internet inbuilt.
Sounds ike you need to call VM to report your box fault. 150 from a VM phone, or 0345 4541111 from any other phone - follow the options for "I have a fault with my TV service"
