Smart cards are no longer in use on the network. The box directly communicates with VM servers for its subscription status. I would give faults a call.

VM 350BB 2xV6 & Landline. Freeview/Freesat HD, ASDA/Tesco PAYG Mobile. Cable customer since 1993

Error 7400 is usually caused by an equipment or account change, resulting in a TiVo/V6 being deactivated.

Calling the automated line 0800 9539500 may be sufficient, else clal faults as already suggested.

Previous post edited, I'd misquoted the number from memory.

Automated activations - 0800 9539500

Or TV Faults - 0345 4541111 or 150 from a VM phone.

Hey there @boogiemoog, thanks for reaching out to us.

I'm sorry to see that you've been hit with the error code 7400.
May I ask if this is across all TV boxes or just the one?

Let us know.

Kind regards.
