Sky box

Hello,

have you any idea on ways to connect the sky set top box with virgin cable via the ASUs router?

i need to acces it to get the tv recording transferred or to re use without using sky subscription?

Re: Sky box

Hi Micky,

thanks as I just wondered whether if they would work at all.

would the sky hold personal info on the hard drive as for security reason should this be picked up by crooks if hard drive had not been removed out?

sky is not good as it’s so poor speed as I finds virgin is much better to use for set top boxes which you don’t have to wait long to get catch up to download within seconds is so good with virgin & not sky is rubbish full stop on sky set top boxes rated only 2 stars

Re: Sky box

Hi Micky,

thanks for reply. I cannot understand why it’s cannot be connected via a wi fi ASUs router to view the previous recording on the sky box without subscribing to sky as we are with virgin broadband cable? Would this be possible to re-use of the 500gb hard drive be used on the desktop computer before sending the sky box to scrap?
