Simple remote for dementia

hi, 

my father in law is suffering from dementia and as time goes on he is struggling with the remote for his TiVo box. There is too many things the remote does and he requires a simple remote which does not offer record or menu options as we regularly find him stuck on something he has no idea on how to get out. Is there any dementia friendly remote controls which we can get?
