Re: Set top box freezing and black screen

A bit more info here might be useful..

1: Can you explain the TiVo "freezing and black screen"? Is this happening with live TV broadcasts? Or, say, OnDemand? Is it a black flicker or a permanent black screen?

2: "Told an engineer would come" - was this by calling faults to report the problem? Were you given an appointment timeslot?

3: On the assumption you had an appointment slot, did you receive any comms from VM regarding cancellation?

Re: Set top box freezing and black screen

Hi,

It happens with both live TV and also with playback.

The engineer wasn't booked by the live chat person so have rebooked it again

Re: Set top box freezing and black screen

Hi @Harare05

Welcome to our Community Help Forum 🙂

Thank you for making this post regarding the TV issues you are experiencing, I'm sorry to hear your TV service has been freezing. Is there an error code displayed on your TV? Were you able to rebook the engineer visit via https://virg.in/myVM?

Please keep up posted on how you're getting on!

Kind regards,

Serena
