S102 Error

I had an engineer over today to install my tv and internet. Internet is fine, tv is all installed but I keep getting to 33% and then an error code S102. I’ve tried calling but waited 50 mins and still couldn’t get through. 

Would anyone be able to help please?

This indicates that the box has not been activated or connected to the virgin media network, are you able to access the help and settings on box. Regards Micky

Hi

I've just had my installation today and have the same problem. Cannot access anything else as it's just a continuous loop of trying to configure the channels. I've rang Virgin media, after being on hold for an hour they said it would work in an hour or 2 it's been 3 and it's still not working! Don't know if I can cope with the hold music of 5 songs on a loop for another hour 😕 beginning to think I should have stuck with Sky!
