Repeated loss of network connection

When I use on demand services, these are interrupted every 5-15 minutes with a loss of connection and a message indicating that there's a problem with the network router (N02), and that the box is unable to connect to the DHCP server. These are resolved either by several attempts to reconnect, or by turning the box on and off, but then the same thing occurs again 5-15 minutes later. There are no current problems with TV services or broadband, so I assume there's a fault in the box rather than the cables.
