I have ordered a new remote as I have lost mine but while I wait I have been trying to use the TV control app but its not connecting to the tivo box I have.
I have tried to change the network settings like how the help guides have said but to get any further I need to click the thumb up 3 times to confirm with no remote just buttons on the tivo box
Do you have a TiVo or a V6? If you're not sure, check here
If you're using a TiVo, then you need to have an Ethernet cable connection from the box to whatever router your remote device is connecting to.
If you're using a V6, your device needs to be connected to the same subnet as the V6.
