I’m looking to move my box and tv to the end of my living room however the cables provided aren’t long enough to reach the distance and there are issues around how best to feed additional cables from one end to another. Is this a service that virgin media provide?

VM can send out a tech to do this for you.
It's a £25 charge for a non fault call out (it used to be £99)
You can either call faults to book the appointment, or wait a couple of days and a member of the forum team will pick this up for you and arrange it.
To speak to faults it's 150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111, option 2 (Faults)
If calling Faults you will hear the automated response asking you to press 1 for the link to online support etc.
Ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech.
