If we cancel our sport package are we still able to watch any recording we have of sports events?

Sorry but you need to be subscribed to the channel to watch any recording made from the channel.

The answer does actually depend which sports channels you're asking about.

For any and every Sky channel (sports or otherwise), you need to have an active subscription at the tme of watching the recording.

For non-Sky channels - therefore Eurosport, Premier Sports/Freesports, BT Sport, those recordings should be viewable if the channel is removed from your package.
