Help!!! TiVo Box started switching itself off a little over 3 weeks ago, and tried re-starting itself 24/7 but nothing happens. I have tried calling Virgin CS but no joy there, even calling at 8am doesn't guarantee that you will actually speak to someone. I'm at my wits end as what to do, as I've done all the things necessary to try and rectify this, but still nothing. I am so annoyed at having to pay for a service that I can't even use. Would appreciate someone getting back to me please.
You would therefore need to contact the VM Faults team on 150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, options 1,1 and 2 (Faults) butbest to call at 8am to avoid call queues it will probably be a box swap, however the agent will also be able to check if you need an engineer visit.
When calling Faultsyou will get the automated response asking you to press 1 for the link to online support, perform tests, reboot etc. Ignore the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and resolve the problem.
